Today is Wednesday. Another day in a long week, in a long month. I am not here in Iraq for long and thats great. I am proud I am serving here, but I also feel very lucky for having this type of deployment. I am very safe and secure and I don't go out and run missions. I am sure many other soldiers who have deployed would have wished to have a deployment like this. The only thing i think many other people who deployed for a year are/were happy about was the large sum of saved money they had once they got back. I wont have as much but still a nice chunk to save. So i have to keep reminding myself when i feel lonely or i feel mad or upset about something here, that I have it easy, and people who have deployed with other units will see this if I talk about it back home.
As you can see my header on the top of this blog, I have created. I have been learning a lot about Microsoft programs and other third party programs. One of these are Photoshop. Photoshop is NOT easy to use, and I have downloaded and watched many many tutorial videos and still i forget the commands and methods to create graphics or just edit any picture. But that is my first real creation! I hope that o can keep on practicing and if its cheap enough I will get a MAC and get the Adobe Suite CS4 and learn more about editing videos and sound and photo's.
This brings up another note. I think its good for anyone and everyone to learn more about computers no matter how old you are or what u do for a career. Computers are the future and everything will eventually run off computers and the internet. So its a good idea for everyone to learn as much as they can.
I guess thats all for now

Eventually everything will run off of computers and then the machine uprising will begin! Lol, keep us up to date and glad to hear you are safe.

Nice note. What do you get mad about? You are smart to occupy your free time learning new things rather than feeling sorry for yourself or being bored. before you know it your deployment will be up and you will be state side dad
